SIGN MY "GUEST BOOK" BELOW.  LET ME KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LIKE YOUR DOLL, AND IF YOU WOULD COMMEND MY DOLLS TO OTHER PEOPLE!!  THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR PLACING YOUR ORDERS!  I ENJOY YOUR BUSINESS!!

GREAT GIFT IDEA
A great heirloom gift to pass on to future generations!!!  A treasured gift for any young girl to have for many years to come.  Design the doll to resemble the child - use the same hair color, skin tone, with or without glasses, and order the fabric in whatever they are interested in to be on the girl's skirt or the boy's shirt.  The boy can wear bib overalls, pants or jeans with belt loops/rope belt (jeans are extra cost).

Send me the material from an old wedding dress, favorite grandfather's shirt, or baby's special blanket (must be light weight) to use for the doll's skirt or shirt.

 Ideas

As I continue making dolls for everyone, I receive good ideas from my customers.  Some ask me if I can make a doll a certain way, make them different sizes, make the faces different, make the doll to resemble a picture of a character they like, to resemble their daughter, granddaughter, a friend, Cinderella, Monty Piphon's Sir Robin, etc. And Yes, I can! I am glad for ALL of your ideas!  It helps me to be more creative in making my Dori Dolls.  I thank you!

Here are some examples I am now trying:

*  Use a special cloth or material (ie: wedding dress, favorite flannel shirt) for the doll's clothing.  Instead of packing up the dress/shirt in a box, I'm using it on the doll so you can look at it all the time!  It will bring back memories!  Use grandma's dress for the grandmother doll's skirt and have the grandmother's name monogrammed on the grandmother's apron.  Use your father's favorite flannel shirt for the boy doll's shirt.  Use your baby's Christening gown for the doll's gown (I will alter it to fit).  Use your son's basketball jersey material for the boy doll's outfit (I can cut the uniform to make the doll's shirt out of it).

*  Make a special doll for every little girl in your family and past to down to the next generation; keep adding a special skirt to it and monogram their name on it.  Or have one skirt and keep adding every little girl's name (to the same skirt) who owns it at that time.

*  Make a "Family" of dolls. The FATHER doll can have a collar shirt and cuffs, dress pants. The MOTHER doll can have short hair, stripe skirt with a vest. The GIRL doll can have her hair in pony tails and have little fairies printed on the skirt. The BOY doll can have bib overalls or jeans, handkerchief in pocket, and have a dog print for the shirt.

*  Make the little girl's skirt and the doll's skirt to match!  When your little girl has a tea party with her doll, they can wear their matching skirts!

* Have a birthday party for your daughter. Have a doll made up for EVERYONE at the party to resemble their friends! That would be a BIG HIT for a "take home" gift!!!!!

* Give me YOUR ideas!!!  I will post it here in my website!!
